Early Literacy Consultation
Due to licensing requirements, services are currently only available to families residing in WI, CO, NC, and VA.
The Early Literacy Consultation provides evidence-based guidance for parents and caregivers who want to support early literacy development at home. This consultation focuses on building a strong foundation for language and pre-reading skills through simple, everyday routines.
Exposure to books at an early age lays the foundation for future language and literacy skills.
During the session, we will discuss your questions related to books, reading, and early literacy development. We will review milestone expectations, and practical ways to support your child’s growing communication and literacy skills within daily life, including strategies for encouraging children who are less interested in books or reading.
Following the consultation, you will receive a written summary with recommendations, book suggestions, and home strategies to support a literacy-rich home environment.
Disclaimer: This consultation service is for educational purposes only and is not a formal speech therapy evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment session. If you have concerns regarding your child's medical health, development, hearing, or other medical needs, please consult your child’s pediatrician.
